Lead AI Consultant

Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead AI Consultant to drive our clients' AI transformation journeys. You'll lead the charge in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge AI technologies, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with human intelligence. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide strategic guidance and technical leadership across diverse industries, crafting and delivering impactful AI solutions—including generative AI, LLMs, computer vision, and ML platforms—that unlock significant business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic AI Leadership: Partner with clients to identify critical business challenges solvable with AI, defining high-impact use cases and developing comprehensive AI roadmaps. Collaborate with product managers and business leaders to align AI strategies with overarching organizational goals.

• End-to-End Solution Delivery: Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge, AI-driven solutions, including end-to-end development of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications. This involves architecting robust AI/ML systems, encompassing RAG pipelines, MLOps, and robust model governance.

• Leading a High-Performing Team: Guide and inspire a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers, and AI developers through technical leadership and mentorship. Oversee multiple complex AI projects, providing hands-on technical guidance.

• Technical Excellence & Mentorship: Oversee multiple complex AI projects, providing hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists, engineers, and AI developers. Establish and enforce best practices in model evaluation, data handling, and AI ethics to ensure high-quality and responsible AI deployments.

• Innovation & Research: Continuously research and integrate the latest advancements in AI, deep learning, and machine learning into practical applications, ensuring our solutions remain at the cutting edge.

• Client Engagement & Communication: Drive pre-sales conversations, develop compelling proposals, and deliver impactful solution demonstrations. Present complex AI solutions, their benefits, and ROI clearly to clients, stakeholders, and executives.

• Data-Driven Insights: Conduct in-depth data analysis and leverage advanced AI technologies to generate actionable insights that enhance business operations and decision-making.

• Documentation & Compliance: Create clear and concise documentation, reports, and presentations detailing project results and impact. Ensure all AI solutions adhere to ethical standards and regulatory compliance.

• Responsible AI & Compliance: Champion the development and deployment of AI solutions that meet the highest ethical standards and regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field

  • Certification in cloud AI/ML services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in AI consulting, with a proven track record of delivering AI solutions.

  • Extensive experience in machine learning, deep learning, and AI technologies.

  • Strong background in developing, deploying, and optimizing AI/ML models.

  • Expertise in programming languages like Python, R, and TensorFlow, as well as frameworks like Keras or PyTorch.

  • Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop or Spark.

Skills & Qualifications

• Masters or advanced certification in AI or machine learning is a plus.

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.

• Ability to build and manage AI roadmaps for enterprise-level applications.

• Familiarity with AI ethics and responsible AI practices.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to lead strategic discussions and decision-making processes.

Required Experience

• Experience : Extensive AI & Generative AI Leadership: You have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in AI, including 8+ years in core data science or machine learning. This must include at least 2 years specifically leading Generative AI (GenAI) and LLM-based projects. Your career should demonstrate a proven track record in client consulting, solution architecture, or data science consulting, consistently delivering transformative, enterprise-scale AI solutions.

• Leadership & Project Delivery: Demonstrated success in leading technical teams through the full lifecycle of complex AI solution development and deployment, from strategic conception to successful production implementation.

• Generative AI & LLM Expertise: Deep, hands-on expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), including practical experience with commercial APIs (OpenAI, Claude) and fine-tuning/deployment of open-source models (e.g., LLaMA, Mixtral).

  • Specialized LLM Skills: Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying LLM-powered chatbots, LLM-based automation solutions, and advanced Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Python, coupled with extensive experience using key AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as LangChain, Hugging Face, and a strong understanding of vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Qdrant, Pinecone).

• Proven Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing numerous successful AI projects with clear documentation of significant business impact, advanced technical approaches, and compelling client case studies.

• Machine Learning Foundations: A profound theoretical and practical grounding in advanced machine learning principles, robust model evaluation techniques, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and deep learning architectures.

• MLOps Acumen: Expertise in MLOps tools and best practices (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases, Kubeflow) to ensure scalable, maintainable, and production-ready AI deployments.

• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional abilities in client engagement, leading pre-sales discussions, crafting persuasive proposals, and delivering clear, impactful presentations to diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
